About
Bethanie's experience includes print and interactive design, art direction and photo art direction. She approaches each and every project with enthusiasm and dedication, and she achieves clear communication of her client's message by employing engaging imagery and copy.
Bethanie received her BA in studio arts and psychology from the University of Rochester. Her education continued in New York City where she attended the School of Visual Arts. She focused on illustration while earning her MFA. She also honed her design skills in New York at various publishing companies including Hearst and Hachette Filipacchi. During her 5 years at Hearst Magazines, she ascended to the role of art director and oversaw a pivotal redesign and rebranding of Sports Afield Magazine.
After relocating to the Bay Area, her focus shifted to collateral and promotional design. She has concepted and designed various launch catalogs including BeneFit Cosmetics, Amazon.com Kitchen and Home and SBC Entertainment and Communication Catalog.
In addition to her work as an art director, Bethanie is an avid cyclist, watercolor painter and vizsla (dog) lover.
